I am a flute teacher for beginners, retirees, semi-professional, and everything in between. Through a lesson cadence best suited to the student, based in my home studio in south Lincoln, my aim is to support students to achieve their goals in not just flute playing, but how they want to live life. My students are future and current contributors to society, and most won’t be professional musicians, but music helps develop soft skills such as public speaking, successful job interviews, goal setting, communication, and more helping each of us live a more fulfilling life.
In addition to private lessons I offer an annual student recital, student performance and competition experiences, and if there’s not an opportunity that’s suited for my students I will create one. This has included mock all-state auditions, master classes with area guest artists, opportunities for group/ensemble experiences, and more. Whenever possible, I will attend and support events my students are participating in.
I offer a free introductory lesson to all prospective students to ensure we will have a positive relationship and understand each other's expectations from the beginning. To learn more about flute lessons, fill out the "contact us" form on this page.
