We hope you join Lincoln-based flute choir Coro di Flauti for a meeting of flutists and flute choirs called Flute Salad! The event will consist of afternoon rehearsal and work with guest conductors, and culminate in a concert open to the public. Three pieces on the concert will be performed collectively by Coro di Flauti (Melissa King, director), Wayne State College flutes (Melissa King), University of Nebraska at Kearney Flute Choir (Franziska Brech), Heartland Community Flute Choir (Christine Erlander Beard) and all other Flute Salad participants.
The event is free to attend and will be a great opportunity to have fun, learn, play along with and see a contra bass flute, to work with flute professors from UNK, and UNO, and to hear a possibly record-breaking number of flutists playing in one room at the same time in Nebraska.
